Chief Accountant

  • Managing all the accounting activities.
  • Managing and supervising the accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitoring cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Closing the books and coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordination with Banks - Handling all payments and transfers.
  • Coordinating with PRO - GOSI and LMRA issues.


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree holder with a proven track record of academic or work experience in the Accounting field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Bahraini accounting standards and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Bahraini Taxation VAT.
  • Proficiency in accounting software / ERP and MS Excel.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • English is a must.
