- Ensure fully approved material submittals on time by submitting & tracking requested items for approvals with projects on weekly basis, including sample forms, data sheets, drawings & physical samples if required.
- Submit required material procurement reports such as “Monthly Procurement spending, delivery time report,..etc).
- Provide technical support to projects through frequent site visits & technical visits (with a technical representative by the supplier) in case of any technical issue relevant to a certain material.
- Ensure that the required saving percentage from the budget is achieved by identifying new alternative materials & suppliers & finding better negotiation ways.
- Follow-up material delivery with suppliers to projects within SLA to meet the submission date & solve any lateness issues.
- Maintain better form & full data for ERP reports by observing & reporting any errors.
- Review PRs submitted by the operation team at projects to ensure all data are correct (Material Budget, SLA need by date, Item Description) & accordingly create PO.
- Survey the market by checking the market's local prices and updating the suppliers list regularly to achieve better performance (Savings, lead time).
