Description·      Lead and supervise a team of settlement accountants, delegating tasks, providing coaching, and mentoring for professional development.·      Establish clear goals and performance objectives for the settlement accounting team, aligning them with departmental and company-wide goals.·      Develop and implement efficient processes for settlement accounting, ensuring adherence to internal controls and best practices.·      Monitor and analyze team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.·      Manage and resolve complex settlement discrepancies, working with internal and external stakeholders as needed.·      Prepare and review financial reports related to settlements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.·      Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures for the settlement accounting function.·      Stay current on relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices.·      Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the settlement accounting team.·      Communicate effectively with colleagues across various departments, including accounting, operations, and risk management.·      Process and reconcile daily settlement reports, ensuring all transactions are accurate and complete.Qualifications·      Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).·      Minimum 5 years of experience in a settlement accounting role, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.·      Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.·      Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.·      In-depth knowledge of settlement accounting principles and procedures.·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).·      Experience with accounting software systems (required).·      Strong project management skills.·  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
