Job Brief:
Responsible for following up on new purchased assets to ensure having all information needed such as costs, locations, and useful life. Also, responsible for handling inventory management to ensure proper control over the stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the capitalization of new assets and ensure maintaining a full record
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, process purchasing orders as required, and tracks orders
- Organize stock delivering procedure for Umniah warehouse and shops
- Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports
- Create and archive monthly journal entries
- Ensure that all old items are ready for disposal procedure when necessary
- Perform monthly closing of the fixed assets by running accurate depreciation and ensure all fixed assets are flowing into the financial statements monthly
- Support departments in compiling the CAPEX budgets and tracking spend on a monthly basis
- Ensure that the fixed assets and inventory module is running properly
- Organize stock delivering procedure for Umniah warehouse and shops
