We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and preferably experience with ZohoBooks. As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. You will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
2. Analyze financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
4. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
5. Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents.
6. Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
7. Provide financial support and guidance to management and other departments.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
10. Stay updated with accounting software and industry trends.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
3. Experience with ZohoBooks is an advantage.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
5. Proficiency in MS Office applications and accounting software.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
