We are looking for a skilled and creative Furniture Designer to join our team in Kuwait. As a Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture pieces. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to understand their requirements and translate them into innovative designs. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, and a passion for creating unique and high-quality furniture.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop furniture pieces that meet client requirements and design standards.

Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to understand their needs and preferences.

Research and stay up to date with current design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques.

Select appropriate materials, finishes, and fabrics for each furniture piece.

Create prototypes and test the functionality and durability of furniture designs.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure the accurate execution of designs.

Provide guidance and support to junior designers and draftsmen.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and design specifications.

Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Furniture Designer, preferably in a high-end furniture company.

Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks.

Strong knowledge of furniture design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Excellent creativity and artistic skills to develop unique and innovative designs.

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients, architects, and production teams.

Strong attention to detail and ability to create accurate technical drawings.

Knowledge of ergonomics and human factors in furniture design.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find practical solutions.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
