We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect Engineer to join our team. The Architect Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of various architectural projects.
This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction processes.
The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the client's requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop architectural designs and plans based on client requirements and specifications.
2. Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
3. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide professional advice on design feasibility.
4. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary information for design development.
5. Coordinate with structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other professionals to ensure integration of all building systems.
6. Prepare project cost estimates and timelines for client approval.
7. Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
8. Review contractor bids and select suitable contractors for project execution.
9. Monitor progress of construction projects and address any issues or delays that may arise.
10. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Proven experience as an Architect Engineer or similar role in the architecture industry.
3. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
4. Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
6. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
7. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
9. Professional licensure or certification as an Architect Engineer is preferred.
