Job Title: School Bus Attendant

About Us:
We are currently seeking dedicated School Bus Attendants to ensure the safety and well-being of students during their daily commute to and from school. If you are passionate about ensuring the safety of children and have a strong sense of responsibility, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
Assist students with boarding and disembarking from school buses, ensuring a safe and orderly process.
Help students fasten seat belts and secure personal belongings during transit.
Maintain discipline and ensure students adhere to bus safety rules and regulations.
Monitor student behavior during transit, intervening as necessary to address disruptive behavior and maintain a safe environment.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, bus drivers, and school staff regarding bus schedules, routes, and safety concerns.
Assist students with special needs or mobility challenges, providing additional support and assistance as required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance.
Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to appropriate school officials or transportation supervisors.
Attend training sessions and workshops to stay updated on safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working with children or in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to student safety.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to interact effectively with students of diverse backgrounds.
Physical stamina and the ability to assist students with boarding and disembarking from buses.
Ability to pass a background check and obtain required certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid).
