We are seeking a skilled Shawarma and Manakish Chef to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Shawarma and Manakish Chef, you will be responsible for preparing the spices and marinade for the Shawarma and also prepare the dough for manakish. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 year of experience in a similar role and possess strong culinary skills. You should have a deep understanding of Middle Eastern flavors and techniques, as well as the ability to create unique and delicious dishes. Attention to detail, a passion for food, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and cook Shawarma and Manakish dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  2. Maintain high standards of hygiene while preparing food.
  3. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work station.
  5. Collaborate with the team to create new and innovative dishes.
  6. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  7. Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum 2 year of experience as a Shawarma and Manakish Chef.
  2. Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine, flavors, and cooking techniques.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  4. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  5. Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
  6. Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively.
  7. Strong communication skills.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
