Job Summary:

As a branch accountant, you will oversee the financial activities of our branch office, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. You will play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the branch's operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Record and reconcile all financial transactions related to automotive sales, service, parts, and accessories.
• Verify and post transactions in the accounting system, ensuring accurate coding and documentation.
• Monitor receivables and payables, and process invoices and payments in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and coordinate with the sales and service departments to ensure accuracy.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, reviewing contracts and negotiating terms when necessary.
• Monitor and analyze branch expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and variances.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Automotive industry
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Previous experience in automotive dealership accounting or a related industry highly desirable
• Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), SAP or any Accounting software
• CPA / ACCA/ CA / MBA or any equivalent certification preferred
