- Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the maximum savings and convenient payment terms in favor of the Foundation.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
- Enrich the suppliers’ list by sourcing qualified eligible vendors.
- Perform planning ahead for consumable supplies to avoid shortages and downtime.
- Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery issues and concerns.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings.
- Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.

Perform critical purchasing functions related to the implementation, development, management and administration of the automated ERP system related to the procurement process.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred Language: Very Good command of the English Language Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems preferably Oracle. Other Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar roleGood working knowledge of purchasing strategiesExcellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsCustomer-oriented while maintaining diplomatic relationships with different departments.
