We are looking for a skilled System and Network Administrator to maintain and support our network infrastructure, servers, and systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network administration, server management, and troubleshooting. The System and Network Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain network hardware such as servers (VM Servers), Cisco routers, and switches.
- Create, manage, and configure virtual machines using Hyper-V.
- Upgrade, repair, and maintain computer networks.
- Manage and update the company website, including regular updates and DNS server management.
- Administer email and Outlook Exchange server.
- Manage backups, replications, and disaster recovery plans for mission-critical servers and database files to ensure redundancy.
- Troubleshoot various network issues.
- Assist network architects with the design of network models as needed.
- Perform system backups and restore procedures.
- Deploy and update company-wide software.
- Manage servers and operating systems.
- Implement security measures.
- Manage physical and cloud network storage on OneDrive.
- Provide user support across all locations.
- Build, set up, and configure equipment for new starters and existing employees.
- Set up IT access for internal staff securely and manage the process execution.
- Train users on hardware and software usage.
- Set up administrator and service accounts and ensure appropriate controls and audit logs are in place.
- Provide advice and training to end-users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a System and Network Administrator or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of network hardware, software, and protocols.
- Experience with server management, virtualization, and cloud services.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
