Business Development Specialist

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for assisting the business development manager to growth the business in specific industry. He/she will assist in the business development plan, design business model and product packages, and suggest prices and annual sales targets.
He/she will work closely with the sales team, and communicate and monitor the implementation of business development plan. He/she will prepare reports about the status and progress of business development plan.
Duties/Core Responsibilities
- Stay updated about the latest trends and issues in the assigned industry / segment, consolidate information, and prepare a report
- Suggest new business opportunities and assist in identifying new growth areas
- Assist in the preparation of business development plan
- Suggest product(s) suitable for specific market segment or customer including packaging various products and services into single offering and suggest changes on product features or specifications to meet customer requirements, if necessary
- Assist in coming up with a business model that will work both for ABANA and customers
- Work closely with sales and other stakeholders and monitor and report the implementation of growth strategies
- Implement business mitigation plan
- Propose annual sales target for specific industry and market segment
- Suggest prices for products related to the assigned industry and market segment
- Be updated with product knowledge and company strategy
- Prepare CRM report with an objective of identifying business gaps and to give enough attention to key deals or opportunities
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Experience
- +5 years of experience in the field of business dev’t, or sales
- Working knowledge with CRM platforms
