  • Identifying potential hazards and determining ways of reducing risks.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to minimize potential risks and hazards.
  • Analyze and resolve potential risks through frequent site inspections.
  • Educate employees regarding health and safety protocols, including accident prevention, standardized work protocols and handling hazardous materials.

·        Applying and following the client contractual QHSE obligations, PSGS’s QHSE policy and procedures.

·        Maintaining the integrity of the ISO Management Documentation System and standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, & ISO 450001

·        Maintaining the integrity of documents for specific standards : ISO 14001; ISO 45001.

·        Assist in compliance reviews, general& specific  risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental Management.

·        Regularly verify the integrity of Facility Maintenance site tools ,equipment ,fire equipment/system and ensure monthly inspections are done by the maintenance department.

·        Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency.

·        Maintain records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response (and evacuation) improvements.

·        Verify adequate provision of first aid kit boxes ,eye wash stations and suitable PPE for the work site.

·        Provide HSE improvement proposals stating: non-conformity, proposed corrective action, required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation.

  • ·        Ensure that Facilities maintenance department has valid work permits applicable for respective jobs before commencement.

Skills

  • Ability to identify health hazards and nip them in the bud.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to work collaboratively across the organizational hierarchy.
  • Expertise with software products such as MS Office.
  • Familiar with computers and related software, including MS Office.
