Job Description: Nail Technician (GENTS)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic GENTS Nail Technician with basic skills to join our GENTS salon team. As a GENTS Nail Technician, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your nail care expertise while providing exceptional services to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
Basic Nail Services:
ü Perform manicures and pedicures following established protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
ü Shape, trim, and buff nails to desired lengths and shapes.
Client Consultation:
ü Consult with clients to understand their nail care preferences and any specific requests.
ü Provide recommendations and suggestions for nail care and treatment.
Sanitation and Hygiene:
ü Maintain a clean and organized workstation, sterilizing tools and equipment before and after each client.
ü Adhere to strict sanitation practices and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Product Knowledge:
ü Stay updated on the latest nail care products, techniques, and trends in the industry.
ü Familiarize yourself with the salons nail product offerings and assist clients in selecting suitable products.
Customer Service:
ü Provide friendly and attentive customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and relaxed during their nail treatments.
ü Address client questions and concerns professionally and effectively.
Professional Development:
ü Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your nail care skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
ü Strive to improve your techniques and proficiency in basic nail services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
ü High school diploma or equivalent.
ü Completion of a basic nail technician training program or relevant certification is preferred.
ü Demonstrated passion for nail care and an interest in learning and growing as a Nail Technician.
ü Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
ü Attention to detail and a keen eye for nail care.
ü Basic understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices in a salon setting.
ü Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
ü Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
