Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Physical Sciences Research Assistant to work on a contract basis. The role involves conducting research and experiments in physical sciences, analyzing data, and preparing reports. Successful candidates will support ongoing projects with structured methodologies and clear documentation.
Key Responsibilities:• Conduct laboratory experiments and fieldwork in physical sciences, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.• Collect, process, and analyze data using specialized software and statistical methods.• Prepare detailed research reports, including data summaries, visualizations, and conclusions.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research findings with project objectives.• Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and methodologies for reproducibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or MATLAB for processing research data.• Experience with laboratory equipment and experimental techniques in physical sciences.• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting research and presenting findings.• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
