In this role you will supervise Consultants and Contractors in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will help to define scope of work, verify design criteria, manage schedule, costs, and project progress. Determine budget estimates and manage variations, scope and schedule.
Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and quality is acceptable.
Monitors progress on site
Provides technical direction, making decisions. Manage and improve quality of works.
Ensures compliance between design and construction on-site.
Maintains frequent communication with Client, Consultants and Contractors.
Advises engineering and project management regarding any problem areas, delays, scope changes, or other events which could effect project completion.
Initiates and/or reviews change order requests for additions, deletions, or changes to the original scope of work.
Recommends design methods, equipment use, etc.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
10+ years of related work experience
Airport Experience is mandatory
Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required
Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology
