Construction Worker

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in preparing construction sites, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling surfaces.
  2. Transport materials and equipment to and from the construction site.
  3. Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers in completing their tasks.
  4. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  5. Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Perform general labor duties as assigned.


Skills

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience as a Construction Worker or similar role is preferred.
  3. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for long periods.
  4. Basic knowledge of construction techniques and equipment.
  5. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
  6. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  7. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.
  8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
