As Avertra Corp’s Product Manager, you’ll be a key player in our MiCustomer Product & Delivery department. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and align with Avertra's commitment to excellence.


Main Job Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, set milestones, and allocate resources appropriately.

Client Communication:

  • Act as a primary point of contact between Avertra and clients, maintaining clear and open lines of communication.
  • Provide regular project updates, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including developers, analysts, and quality assurance professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Resource Allocation:

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary tools, training, and support to carry out their responsibilities.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address challenges to prevent project delays or issues.

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align project objectives.

Budget Oversight:

  • Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other relevant records.
  • Ensure compliance with Avertra's MiFlow documentation standards.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Monitor and measure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty.

Escalation Management:

  • Address and resolve project-related issues promptly.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management when necessary.

Reporting:

  • Generate and present regular reports on project progress, key performance indicators, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide insights into project status during team and stakeholder meetings.

Adherence to Standards:

  • Ensure that all projects adhere to Avertra's MiFlow methodology stan


Skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with the software industry, especially in areas relevant to Avertra Corp's focus (e.g., SaaS, digital transformation, utility solutions) is valuable.
  • Understanding of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams and leading projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills to inspire and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. Delivery Leads need to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address challenges and make informed decisions in a dynamic project environment. 
  • Ability to analyze project requirements, risks, and performance metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to adapt to changing project requirements, technologies, and client expectations.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach, fostering a positive and productive work environment.


Preferences:

  • PMP Certificate
  • Master’s Degree

Education:


A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline is often required.
