Title: IT SpecialistIndustry: IT SoftwareReporting Line: Service Delivery ManagerPosition Type: Full TimeLevel: SeniorLocation: Cairo Office, New CairoAbout the job:You have a strong background in IT infrastructure management and you have ambitions to work in an International environment where you are surrounded by strong IT professionals.If you can see yourself in a team where values such as drive, engagement and competencies, room for family life, and spare time, don't hesitate to apply.Technical profile/ Your duties:Infrastructure Management:Monitor and maintain the health and performance of hardware infrastructure including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality.Troubleshoot hardware and network issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.Firewall and Security Management:Configure and manage firewall systems to protect the company's network from unauthorized access and security threats.Implement and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard company data and assets.Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.Internet Connectivity Management:Monitor and optimize internet connectivity to ensure stable and high-speed access for all users.Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues, working with service providers to resolve outages or performance issues.Implement traffic management and quality of service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical business applications.Software Tools Administration:Administer software tools and platforms used by developers for coding, version control, collaboration, and project management.Install, configure, and maintain development environments, IDEs, and development frameworks to support software development activities.Provide technical support and training to developers on the use of software tools and best practices.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate documentation of hardware and software configurations, network diagrams, and security policies.Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and IT infrastructure metrics for management review.Document troubleshooting procedures and resolutions for common IT issues to facilitate knowledge sharing and problem resolution.Desired Skills And ExperienceWho are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a software development environment.Strong knowledge of hardware systems including servers, storage devices, and networking equipment.Proficiency in Firewall configuration and management, with experience using Sonic Wall.Experience with Microsoft 365.Experience with EST Solution. Knowledge of GDPR audit is a plus.
