CT_MTCS-E665 Senior Application Engineer (Downstream) - Full Time - Al Seef, Bahrain
Join our CT_MTCS team within Chemtech division in Bahrain as Senior Application Engineer (Downstream). Purpose of the job – to be responsible for carrying out hydraulic design calculations and process simulation of refinery applications.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Refinery application simulation mainly for distillation column and peripheral equipment’s;
- Design activity related to basic process package design (heat, material, and utility balances);
- Contribute to technical marketing through publications and strategic assistance;
- Provide comprehensive training, sales support, presentation, and technical assistance for Refinery group;
- Nurturing a thriving innovation process, continuously generating and processing new ideas;
- Serve as a crucial repository of knowledge for packings, trays, and refinery technology.
What you bring to Sulzer:
- Graduate in Chemical Engineering;
- Min 10 Years’ experience in Refinery Processes;
- Column internals knowledge is added advantage;
- Refinery applications knowledge;
- Working in refinery is added advantage;
- Experience in designing/evaluating process configuration and producing equipment design and datasheets including reactors, compressors, pumps, fired heaters, heat exchangers, vessels/drums/tanks, distillation columns and other separation equipment;
- Communication & negotiation skills;
- Time management / Planning skills;
- Customer service skills;
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change;
- The ability to travel internationally 15-20% of the time.
