Responsibilities
- Contributes to the organization’s strategic planning by offering insights and recommendations related to the academic departments
- Fosters a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Distributes leadership effectively to achieve high standards in all areas and create an ethos of collective responsibility and mutual support
- Sets high and clear performance expectations, establishes goals and monitors progress
- Fosters a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- by encouraging innovative ideas and identifying opportunities for enhancing processes, systems, and service delivery
- Stays updated on educational industry trends and advancements to remain competitive and ensure the organization's continuous growth.
- Devises and delivers robust induction and professional development programs for all staff
- Trains, coaches, develops, evaluates and provides regular feedback to staff to ensure that they perform their roles effectively and stay updated on best practices
- Conducts pop-in and formal lesson observations and provides prompt and constructive feedback to teachers accordingly
- Promotes the integration of innovative teaching practices and emerging educational trends into the curriculum.
- Encourages teachers to explore and implement new and effective instructional strategies.
- Contributes in establishing, implementing and reviewing policies and criteria to ensure they align with the institution's goals and standards
- Identifies and implements innovative solutions to streamline and optimize SOPs, to simultaneously enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Develops, implements and continuously improves the academic programs to align with the organization’s vision, mission and values
- Regularly reviews, updates and ensures that all aspects of the academic program align with International/ CEFR language proficiency levels and reflect best practices in language teaching, learning and assessment
- Engages with the academic team members to gather insights into curriculum requirements
- Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of the existing curriculum and conducts regular needs assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Allocates resources efficiently
- Ensures that teachers have access to updated, appropriate and supplementary resources (both course- related and technology)
- Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to allocate resources for the development and enhancement of curriculum materials.
- Analyzes performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Uses data to inform decision-making and strategic planning
