Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESS"Job DescriptionIn the absence of the Chief Engineer, carry out all other tasks related to the position thatare assigned by the General Management.Responsible for the technical operations related to the hotel, both inside and outside ofthe facilities.Ensure that all of the units, facilities and equipment at the hotel are working, maintainedand repaired. Operate these in the most economical manner, according to the technicalrules and changing needs of the facilities and without compromising the quality promisedto customers. Responsible for preparing and implementing the expenditure budget tocarry out these operations.Ensure that the periodic maintenance and repairs for all of the buildings, machines andequipment in the facilities are carried out according to the planned maintenance andrepair methods.Assign facility employees with the appropriate qualities to carry out maintenance andrepairs or outsource such work to quality technical service providers.Coordinate with Safety Manager to protect the hotel and defend it against fires andnatural disasters and train the employees in this area.Ensure that the technical service workshops and storage houses are up and running andare used to the maximum extent possible.Prepare the daily list of tasks for his/her team.Prepare the weekly work schedule for the Technical Service Department.Assist the Chief Engineer in preparing the maintenance and repairs programmed.Strive for establishing good communication with subcontractors and departmentalemployees.Prepare the inventory lists of departmental spare parts, tools and supplies.Consult and inform the Chief Engineer for all issues deemed as necessary.Inspect the hotel building and surroundings according to the fit-out schedules in order toensure that that they comply with applicable laws.When necessary, carry out other reasonable tasks that may be requested.Manage and audit the his department according to the policies, procedures andinstructions identified by the Chief Engineer, set targets, and communicate and ensureadoption of these targets.Ensure that all employees at the hotel take the measures required for occupational andworker health.Must take all measures required for occupational and worker health and comply with allmeasures taken.Take part in the Emergency Response Teams and the Fire Extinguishing Team.To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may createdisease for the environment, to join all activities which is organized to protect biologicaldiversity and shares the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order toincrease environment knowledge and to carry on necessary trainings. To provideminimum consumption currently used all stuffs and equipment (paper, printed out etc.).To implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings in order to save energyinside the facility. To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for savingenergy. To predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchasedequipment.To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste in a proper way,reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment and lead to staffs.To provide carrying chemicals safely, carrying, storing and using in accordance withlaws, controlling reducing chemical dirtiness.Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management and food safetymanagement systems implemented at the facilities.Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified inQualificationsthe job description.Education: Bachelor Degree Experience: Minimum of 6 years of related work experience or 2 years workexperience in a lower position and experience with applying the main principlesand/or different methods. Foreign Language: Intermediate level English. Courses and Training: Requires sufficient theoretical and practical background andattendance in courses and seminars in the related field. Computer Literacy: MS Office applications, automation knowledge. Skills: Requires good command and monitoring of technical developments andpractices. Expected to offer consulting to other employees when needed. Responsiblefor carrying out and coordinating complex activities in different fields.
