Systems and Network Section Head

Network 

• Schedule and perform the installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and associated plans for network resources administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.

Security

• Implement and manage security solutions including firewall, anti-virus, web filtering, intrusion detection and cryptography systems.

• Develop, implement, and maintain enforcement of policies, procedures and associated plans for systems security administration and user system access based on industry-standard best practices.

• Monitor all available security logs and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity, interpret activity and make recommendations for resolution.

Windows Systems

• Manage the installation, configuration, monitoring, support, and optimization for Microsoft Windows Server Operating System, Active Directory Service, DNS, DHCP, IIS, WSUS, SCCM, …etc. to fulfill business objectives and processes.

• Support and maintain Microsoft solutions on primes and/or on cloud.

• Configure and maintain Microsoft Exchange Online and all associated applications to provide a reliable and secure emailing system.

• Administer and maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Help Desk Management

• Evaluate and guide help desk team performance and productivity. 

• Assign tasks to the help desk team to ensure customer (HQs’, WH & Training Academy) service is delivered on a timely and accurate basis.

• Develop and establish IT technical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with standards and IT best practices.

Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.

• 5+ years of working experience in the same position.

• Excellent knowledge of the following trends and technologies: 

Network Cabling Standards/ LAN Topologies and Technologies/ WAN Protocols and Standards/ Aruba/HP Networking Cores, Edges and Wireless/ Cisco Routing Protocols, Standards and Hardware/ FortiGate UTM/ Cisco/Avaya VoIP/ HP, Dell and/or IBM Servers and Storage Systems/ APC/MGE UPS/ HVAC control, APC Alarms and Access Control/ MS Windows Network Operating Systems/ MS DNS, DHCP, IIS and SCOM and SCCM/ Microsoft Azure, Exchange online, O365 Administration/ Cisco CCNA and CCNP Certificates/ CompTIA Security+ Certificate or equivalent/ Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert 

 Preferred:

• HP Networking AIS Certificate.

• CEH Certificate (Certified Ethical Hacker).

• Fortinet FCNSA Certificate (Certified Network Security Associate).

• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.

• ITIL Foundation knowledge.

• Project Management background.
