Position Overview:


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Planning Manager to join our PDS team in Egypt. This role will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various real estate development projects across the country. The Assistant Planning Manager will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in driving successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the Planning Manager in developing and executing project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conducting research and analysis related to real estate development projects, including market trends, zoning regulations, and environmental impacts.
  • Assisting with the preparation of feasibility studies, due diligence reports, and other project-related documentation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and consultants to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress, identifying potential risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Reviewing architectural drawings, design plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with local regulations and project requirements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other project-related documentation for internal and client review.
  • Supporting the coordination of meetings, site visits, and other project-related activities.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes relevant to real estate development.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and methodologies within the PDS team.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in real estate development planning, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Familiarity with the planning and approval processes within Egypt.
  • Proficiency in using planning and project management software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, or Primavera.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
