Job Description:

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production within our manufacturing facility. With a minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a managerial role, and expertise in sheet metal manufacturing, CNC milling, lathe operations, and conventional manufacturing machines, you will drive operational excellence and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products. Additionally, your proficiency in ISO 9001 standards will be essential in maintaining our commitment to quality management.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with the sales and procurement teams to ensure optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline production scheduling and resource allocation.

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability within the production team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training as needed to enhance employee skills and productivity.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and enforce quality control processes and procedures to uphold the integrity and reliability of our bridge bearings.
• Conduct internal audits and oversee external audits to assess and maintain quality system effectiveness.

Equipment Maintenance and Optimization:

• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment, including CNC milling and lathe machines, as well as conventional manufacturing machines.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance activities and address equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards in the manufacturing facility.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety awareness among all employees.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering production department
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a production management role.
• Expertise in sheet metal manufacturing, CNC milling, lathe operations, and conventional manufacturing machines.
• Expertise in manufacturing of molds for sheet metal , plastic products.
