Role Objective:
Strategic :
Develop, deliver and communicate visual concepts and strategies to promote retail brands, products and services in-
store, in catalogues or online.
Direct team to follow corporate directives on visual set ups and vendor shops, while utilizing their own keen
merchandising eye and fashion forward displays to fit their individual store location.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1. Conducting research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features;
2. Identifying and sourcing props, fabrics, hardware and lighting;
3. Maintaining a budget and negotiating with suppliers of visual materials.
4. Creating store layout plans and display guidelines.
5. Research concept and ideas for seasonal projects.
6. Plan and design seasonal projects and follow up on implementation in stores within a selected timeframe
7. Finalize graphic files and coordinate with printing companies.
Operational:
1. Liaising with teams such as buying, design and marketing to create design themes and plans, often months in
advance, including window and in-store displays, signage and pricing concepts;
2. Assembling or dismantling visual displays in windows or in-store;
3. Execute and support Company and Store Manager’s business objectives
4. Ensure all brand concepts are represented as directed
5. Ensure proper and timely processing and placement of merchandise
6. Ensure forms and mannequins are clean, presentable, in good working order and presenting in proper positioning
and composition
7. Drive a fun, exciting and rewarding culture within the store visual team
8. Communicate with Store Manager merchandise transfer opportunities
9. Keep updated on Visual and Operations Memos
10. Ensure policies and procedures are followed
11. Maximize sales and visual impact though optimal arrangement of tables, fixtures, walls and mannequins while
upholding company visual guidelines and directives
12. Ensure proper placement of new receipts
13. Maintain/update floor set shops as merchandise sells through while upholding visual standards

2. Demonstrate a positive leadership style with an enthusiastic, positive, committed and flexible attitude. Promoting
the importance and benefits of effective team working.
3. Actively participate in team meetings and briefings with particular focus around the visual delivery of the brand,
raise awareness of priorities and ultimately increase sales.
4. To work with department team members in developing their visual merchandising skills.
5. Monitor performance of direct reporters and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate
feedback.

1. Bachelor’s degree with specialization in marketing
2. Short course/Diploma in fashion technology would be
preferred
Experience:
