Role and Responsibilities:
As the Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing social media strategies to amplify the brand presence and engagement for our various companies and business units. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Crafting compelling social media content (text, images, videos, etc.) tailored to the unique tone and audience of each of our brands
• Managing the day-to-day publishing and community engagement across our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Monitoring social media trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, PR, product, etc.) to align social media initiatives with broader marketing and communications strategies
• Tracking and reporting on social media performance metrics to measure the impact and inform future planning
• Staying up-to-date with the latest social media platform features, best practices, and emerging social media marketing trends
Qualifications and Skills:
• 2-4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not necessarily required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to craft engaging, on-brand content
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) and social media analytics platforms is a plus
• Adaptability and flexibility to work across multiple brands with diverse target audiences and styles
• Knowledge of social media algorithm changes and platform-specific best practices is preferred
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required
