Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, building links, analyzing web analytics, and optimizing on-page & off-page SEO. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and a deep understanding of SEO best practices.
To be considered for this role you must attach a portfolio along with your CV, showcasing the Organic Search results you have achieved for previous clients. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the latest SEO techniques to optimize our website for search engines.
- Create and execute effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic.
- Develop & implement content strategies that are both SEO-friendly & engaging.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify new opportunities for content creation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms.
- Thoroughly monitor our website traffic and tweak SEO campaigns to improve traffic i.e. ensure our website is listed within the first search results page of leading search engines.
- Optimize website content and landing pages.
- Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of SEO and website.
- Collaborate with content creators and developers to improve SEO.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience in technical SEO
- Strong knowledge of both on-page and off-page SEO
- Experience in writing SEO-driven content for backlinks, writing titles and descriptions for website pages such as on Google, Yahoo, Bing, Yandex, and the like
- Familiar with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google search console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Keyword Planner tool, and Screaming Frog
- Experience in working with semantic core and keyword optimisation
- Experience in reporting on SEO activities and maintaining website pages
- Ability to positively influence conversion rate (CR), click-through rate (CTR), return on investment (ROI), lifetime value (LTV), average revenue per user (ARPU), etc through SEO
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in keyword research tools and web analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress and experience in optimizing websites on this platform.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
