Key Responsibilities:



Operating procedures such as, e.g., general accounting and/or accounts payable or receivable. Executes day to day processing of transactions within defined standard. Ensure to comply with regulations and local authorities. Manage and maintain the company’s tax, legal and business license database for Area. Invoice processing & verification. Vessel Accounts processing. Vendor payments & allocation to appropriate invoices. Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden. Vendor reconciliation. Resolving invoice queries by coordinating directly with vendors. Offer support and guidance during audits. Assist in financial planning and analysis. Support internal audit and compliance guideline for Area. Supports team on ad hoc tasks for Area.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field. A minimum of 3 years’ experience as Accounting and Tax or similar role. Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software SAP is preferred. In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Explorer Internet software; FastTrack or similar tax software.
