Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access, viruses, and other security threats.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and backups.
• Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues and assisting with network-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex network problems and optimize network performance.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends, and make recommendations for network improvements.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SNMP, Ping, Traceroute).
• Hands-on experience with networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Familiarity with security best practices and techniques for securing network infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
