  • Understand the performance characteristics, applications, and limitations of various construction materials.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies targeting construction companies, contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build a robust pipeline of prospects within the construction industry.
  • Conduct site visits, assessments, and technical consultations to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and bids tailored to the needs of individual customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, architects, and engineering firms.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and technical support, to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • 5-10+years of experience
  • Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering roles within the construction materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
