We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Typist and Administrative Public Relations Officer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent typing and administrative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and type official documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Manage and update databases and filing systems.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of press releases and other public relations materials.
- Maintain a professional and organized office environment.
- Provide administrative support to the Public Relations team.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with event planning and coordination.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Candidate:
- Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in public relations or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
