Job PurposeMaintenance Control Centre Engineer is responsible for monitoring, managing defects, providing technical support, and ensuring the safety of railway systems. He/she acts as a focal point between the operations, customer service and the maintenance departments to assure the mobilization of maintenance teams to rectify railway systems faults.Profil De Candidat RecherchéRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:-Receive failure and collect corresponding impact through main reporting channels (Mainline, Stations, and depot).Record Service Requests/failure details through maintenance management system (MMS).Follow up and communicate with maintenance teams to assure efficient mobilization.Follow up on failure progress updates and provide clear and effective reports to the management with information vital to the decision-making process.Monitor the status of existing failures and follow up on the progress.Maintain open communication channel with Station to assure the safety and operational status of mainline asset (ex; AFC Gates, Escalators, Elevators, HVAC, and CCTV, etc).Produce Daily reports demonstrating daily maintenance performance and line station’s asset health.Regularly participate in station audit/inspection to confirm the condition of assets.Ensure daily work is conducted in accordance with the applicable regulations, rules, standards, and operational procedures related to railway safety.Work flexibly and efficiently in support of the project which include working shift rotation, nights, weekends, and holidays.Assure the integrity and maintaining records through MMS.Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those encountered in the course of the work.Must have solid communication, maintenance analytical and management skills.Undertake any other duties as assigned.QualificationsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum grade good.Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions.Knowledge of mechanical and electrical different systems.KnowledgeProficiency in Microsoft officeAbility to use MMS.ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience in similar projectsExposed to the railway environment.Desired BehaviorsExcellent communication skills, fluent level of English.Experience in dealing with public governmental sector.Able to work a rotating shift schedule including days, nights weekends and holidays.Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle stressful situations.Ability to follow a procedure or method statement and write technical reports.Team player.Negotiation and decision-making ability.Continuously seeks to improve.Creativity and innovation.Problem solving ability
