Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to join our team. Assisting with updating accounts receivable and issue invoices whilst also running of reports and preparing Statement of Accounts for Clients as and when requested. Assisting with updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations. Assisting in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines. Assisting with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned. Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed. Preparing and submit weekly/monthly reports. Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings. Assisting with other accounting projects. Assisting with handling petty cash and its requirement as a back-up to the other team members.Skills And QualificationsIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
