Role Overview

This position is based in Jordan and is pivotal in monitoring our sales and operations both in the UAE and Jordan.


Intro: We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team, focusing on expanding our market reach and enhancing revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales processes, from lead generation to sales closure, while providing strategic leadership to the team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead the sales team, setting quotas, evaluating performance, and developing sales strategies.
  • Inbound Inquiry Handling: Oversee the response to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Customer Guidance: Ensure the team assists customers in selecting products, focusing on technical specifications and commercial benefits.
  • Negotiation and Quotation: Lead negotiation discussions; oversee the preparation and dispatch of quotations or Proforma Invoices.
  • Sales Closure: Drive efforts to close sales and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Record Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date sales logs and reports.


Supportive Responsibilities

  • Customer Visits: Conduct and oversee on-site customer visits and generate necessary documentation (Invoices, DOs, PLs, COOs).
  • Customer Service: Provide exemplary customer service and support ongoing business development activities.


Scope of Work

  • Technical Discussions: Lead in-depth discussions with clients to address their concerns and queries, and suggest suitable product configurations.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to the team, enhancing their ability to understand and sell complex measuring solutions
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry developments to provide strategic insights to both sales and product teams.

Skills

Educational Background:

  • Degree Required: University or Diploma degree, with a preference for majors in Engineering such as Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electro-mechanical.


Experience:

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a sales leadership role, including negotiating and closing deals or 2 years in similar position and scope of work
  • Industry Relevance: Must have experience in mechatronics or products related to mechatronics engineering, instrumentation, industrial automation, process control, weigh bridges, packing and batching machines or close related field.
  • Experience Validation: Provision of experience certificates to validate sales experience is required.
  • Additional: Experience in PLC products and installations services.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide the sales team.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel for creating technical and commercial quotations.
  • Communication: Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Research Capability: Strong online research skills.
  • Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute (WPM).
