Our organization is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Psychological and Family Therapist in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field, with a maximum of 5 years. This role requires a strong understanding of psychological theories and therapeutic techniques, as well as the ability to work with individuals and families to address their mental health concerns and strengthen their relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions to clients, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and provide resources for additional support
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of psychological therapy
- Participate in supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of conduct
Preferred Candidate:
- A master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field
- Valid licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of Kuwait
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients
- Empathy and compassion for individuals and families facing mental health challenges
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
