Requirements:
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- CCNA certification is mandatory, and CCNP certification is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with campus switching and wireless controllers.
- Solid understanding of server hardware and server operating systems.
- Previous experience working for a System Integrator or solution providing company is highly desirable.
- Additional experience in other IT-related or technology-related areas will be considered a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Perform network troubleshooting and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement appropriate solutions to optimize network performance.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and IT staff.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving network issues.
