  • Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
  • Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.
  • Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial aspects, to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage, route, and timing while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform wound assessments, dressings changes, and wound care procedures to promote healing and prevent infection in patients with acute or chronic wounds.
  • Provide patient and family education on health conditions, treatment plans, medication regimens, self-care techniques, and preventive measures to empower patients to manage their health effectively.
  • Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and needs within the healthcare system, ensuring that they receive compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and acute changes in patients' conditions, initiating appropriate interventions and collaborating with the healthcare team to stabilize patients and ensure their safety.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHRs), adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and practices to prevent the spread of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as continuing education, certification renewal, and participation in professional organizations, to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits to identify opportunities for enhancing patient care quality, safety, and outcomes within the healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrate ethical decision-making and professional conduct in all aspects of nursing practice, maintaining patient confidentiality, respecting autonomy, and upholding standards of nursing ethics and professionalism.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care arrangements for patients, collaborating with community resources, home health agencies, and other providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes post-discharge.


Skills

  • Must have experience in Baby care, Elderly care, Diabetic Patients Care, Handling NGT Feeding & other related conditions.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nurse in Home Care, Clinics, or Hospital settings.
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid license as a Nurse issued by the Professional Regulation Commission.
  • Additional Requirement: Qatar Prometric certification is preferred but not mandatory.
