Overview Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager/Supervisor, performs functions and maintains records related to benefits administration to include the employment process, open enrollment, fit for duty evaluations, in-processing and conducting employee orientation benefits briefs. Responsibilities

  • Provides full benefits assistance to all direct hire employees.
  • Processes a variety of personnel transactions to include but not limited to, status changes, benefits enrollment and cancellation .
  • Works as liaison for employee with local carrier on ID cards issues. Works as liaison with HQ on all other insurance issues.
  • Coordinates information flow between HQ and employee's Leadership on leave of absence and workers compensation matters.
  • Works closely with HQ benefits to ensure all new employees are assigned an Employee ID (clock number) and receive information on benefits eligibility.
  • Works closely with HR Management and HQ Benefits to ensure employees are provided with the most up to date information regarding their benefits.
  • Conducts benefits orientation for new employees during new hire orientation.
  • Works closely with HQ benefits to assure employees do not return to work prior to receiving notification of medical clearance.
  • Runs reports of all employees who are on a medical leave of absence, workers comp, or other illness related leave. Responsible to coordinate the Annual Physical/Interactive Process
  • Maintains employee Death Roster for all the Programs supported by Middle East RSC, Knowledge of pertinent -Regional Labor Laws as well as state and federal laws (if applicable). Coordinates Monthly Random Drug Testing of employees as per contract requirement
  • Assist HQ with International Wellness program activities
  • Performs other Human Resources duties as assigned by the HR Manager/Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred, equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
    • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Program Specific Requirements:
    • Must have 1 – 2 years' of demonstrated HR Benefits' experience, a plus.. Prefer large DoD Project/OCONUS HR experience.
  • Skills:
    • Must have a high degree of professionalism, outstanding interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. working knowledge of Regional Labor Law, Middle East customs and work regulations, a plus. .
  • Work Environment:
    • Works in a general office environment. However, duties will sometimes involve the conduct of work in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions including frequent dust storms, and high temperatures - up to 130 degrees in the summer months. Will comply with all Fire, Safety and post policies. Normal work week is 48 hours but must be able to work overtime or nights as required
