Job Summary
- The QA/QC Manager Industrial is responsible for leading and managing the Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions of the assigned location (Industrial) working closely with the head of operations and other functional managers to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations, and that quality and compliance standards are met. The position holder will also develop and implement quality control plans and procedures and will manage a team of Quality Control and Quality Assurance professionals.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Enforce the implementation of quality control plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry
- standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all products delivered within Industrial meet or exceed customer expectations, and that quality
- and compliance standards are met.
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Work closely with all functional managers to identify and resolve quality issues, and to continuously improve
- product quality.
- Manage the non-conformance and corrective action process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of
- quality issues.
- Ensure that all quality documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and that it is stored and
- maintained in an appropriate manner.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of quality standards and
- procedures.
- Supervise all QA/QC plans as well as amendments and revisions in order to meet the project quality
- requirements and client’s expectations.
- Establish project quality objectives in line with IMS corporate objectives and ensure to monitor submittals of
- QA/QC reports.
- Build and implement a control system for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage/attend to all required/related meetings and arranges all project Quality requirements with the
- project owner/consultant and project management team.
Job Responsibilities 2
Ensure that review is undertaken on a quarterly or on a need basis.
Ensure to supervise all amendments and track and record revisions to the QA/ QC plan after any amendment and issue to all interested parties.
Establish project quality objectives in line with SHEQ corporate objectives and ensure to monitor submittals of QA/ QC reports.
Ensure to prepare and/ or review/ amend quality objectives as per client requirement within 30 days of the start of the project and ensures its alignment with corporate SHEQ objectives.
Ensure to monitor the objectives on monthly basis and submission of quality reports by 5th of every month.
Design and implement an auditing and control system for suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure to plan and conduct quarterly QA/ QC audits to evaluate subcontractor and bi- annual for supplier performance.

Job Knowledge & Skills
• Certification of ISO 9001:2015 as Internal Auditor a minimum requirement.Knowledge of all work-related standards, Specifications and Quality systems such as: QCS,ISO 31000, ISO 22301, ASTM, BS, BSEN, ACI and AASHTO etc.Knowledge of local employment laws/regulations sufficient to analyze proposed personnel and policies.Good technical knowledge related to the Construction techniques.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering
Profesional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equal) or ASQC certification (CQM/CQE).
