B<br/><br/>ARIPL (Amazon Retail India Pvt Ltd) is hiring a Vendor Manager for managing one or more Perishables sub-categories – Dairy, Chocolates, Ice creams, Frozen Foods, Bakery and Eggs. The role is responsible for driving customer inputs – selection, price and instock for Perishables categories for our Amazon Fresh program.<br/><br/>We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative candidate to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a start-up business team.<br/><br/>Responsibilities: -
· Handle and build comprehensive selection through strong vendor relationships including assessing market procurement conditions, recommending terms, and implementing procurement strategies.
· Be responsible for the following areas of business management: promotional campaigns, support to in-stock management, product management, and vendor performance communications.
· With online content management team, develop and execute collaborative marketing and promotions campaign for a wide variety of products across the categories.
· Help to set up a category procurement support strategy along with supply chain teams and drive continuous process improvements, such as improving vendor lead times.
· Handle item/vendor set-up in various tools.
· Attend trade shows and vendor meetings as required
· Monitor and research industry and market trends to make the Amazon offering the best for the customer.
· Handle vendors and internal processes in daily operative tasks<br/><br/>We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:<br/><br/>Bengaluru, KA, IND
- 3+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
