The Role:
Senior Receptionist supports the salon team by providing a first-class client experience & ensuring the smooth & efficient operation of the spa reception by managing the front desk with bookings, re-bookings & daily management of clients. We are looking to hire for a skilled Senior Receptionist who is passionate about beauty & helping customers with their daily requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer and staff queries, appointments and ensure accurate response/ reconfirmation is given within the decided timeframe.
- Handle multi line telephone system efficiently and accurately applying the company’s telephone etiquettes & call handling system.
- Manage the booking system efficiently and ensure communication is accurate throughout the spa and that all documents and systems reflect the same information.
- Receive and greet visitors in an efficient, tactful, and courteous manner.
- Assist in collecting payments from the clients
- Assist in the opening and closing of the Spa and daily sales cash collection and ensure they are accurately administered and completed.
- Actively promote the company’s Spa services and Retail to all the customers.
- Assist Spa Manager/in-charge with assignments/ task of the staff.
- Listen to client concerns with empathy and offer every possible help within the role assigned and The House of Enspa’ s policies and procedures, ensures a follow through of the client issue till its closure.
- Understands the customer and builds strong collaborative customer and staff relationships and builds customer trust and confidence.
- Trains new staff as needed
- Assist in inventory as needed
- To present a polished, professional image, ensuring that the company policies are adhered to by paying particular attention to dress, appear and radiate positive body language.
- To always maintain a friendly & approachable attitude towards clients and staff.
Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar environment
- Qualified to NVQ3 level3 Beauty or equivalent.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Ability to effectively assess customer needs.
- Attention to details and accuracy.
- Willingness to work under a flexible schedule.
- Punctual and motivated to take initiatives.
- Awareness of cultural differences and respectful to all individuals
