- Analyzing project data: Analyze loads, design beams, columns, foundations, and other structural components. Perform complex calculations to ensure stability and safety. and determine the most effective design approach.
- Preparing construction documents ,plans and Structural Shop Drawings: You'll ensure that all drawings, specifications, and other documents are clear, accurate, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
- Staying up-to-date with industry standards: The field of civil engineering is constantly evolving, so you'll be expected to stay abreast of the latest software, technologies, and design practices.
- Focuses on: The design, analysis, and construction of a building's structural elements, ensuring they can safely support the building's weight and external forces (wind, earthquakes).
- Write technical reports and presentations.
- Oversee project implementation and ensure compliance with applicable specifications and standards.
- Communicate with architects, contractors, consultants, and coworkers.
- Solve technical problems that may arise during project execution.
- Ensure project compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction engineering from an accredited university.A minimum of [3] years of experience as a Construction designer.Proven experience in Construction engineering project design. With experience earthquake-resistant buildings (Designing and Analyzing)Proficiency in Construction Design software (AutoCAD Civil 2D, Etabs , SAP, STAAD Pro, Revit Structure ….etc.).Knowledge of Building Codes and applicable regulations, Seismic Design Codes and great knowledge of the Saudi Building Code.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
