Job Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives. Provide input and insights on fundraising best practices and trends.
  • Investor Sourcing and Networking: Leverage your existing network and actively build new relationships to source potential investors. Cultivate strong relationships with investors, investment firms, venture capitalists, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Presentations and Pitching: Prepare compelling presentations and pitch materials to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition, growth potential, and investment opportunities. Present confidently and professionally in front of diverse audiences
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and investor preferences. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new investment opportunities and assess the competitive landscape.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in investment management, fundraising, or related roles, with a focus on private equity or venture capital
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate well with colleagues, partners, and clients, strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing (knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage).
  • Strong PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as needed, and provide support outside of normal working hours when necessary.
  • Able to start as soon as possible.
