· Receive samples or email enquiries through the Direct Manager.
· Use software to create samples, detailed 2D or 3D designs and CAD drawings while ensuring the alignment of the same with the Sample client requirements.
· Coordinate with the Graphic Design team on regular basis to ensure that the final designs are in line with the client needs.
· Send CAD designs to the concerned Departments and Divisions (e.g., Sales Team, Production Team (only when necessary), etc.) to seek final approval from the client before forwarding the CAD Design to the Graphic Design Team.
· Follow up on any modifications that may arise from concerned Stakeholders and update the designs accordingly while ensuring adherence to the pre-set schedules and deadlines for submitting final design, through the sales team via email or written documentation.
· Prepare new die cut orders, drawings & tracing paper corresponding with the actual size needed for machine & die makers.
· Prepare the Tracing Paper with the actual size for the Plant Machines and Die Cut makers to ensure optimal operation procedure.
· Prepare the Palletization reports as per the business needs which provides the Delivery Department with the Optimal Packaging Size for each pallet.
· Maintain accurate documentation of developed material for future reference using proper coding and naming.
· Request a sheet from the production as per the specifications needed after preparing the sample, through the design manager in coordination with the production team.
· Ensure that all samples are processed within 1 to 2 days.
· Stay up to date with the latest CAD Design software and techniques and recommend new tools to be applied within the company accordingly to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the created materials.
· Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering or any related field.
· Minimum (3-4) years of experience in the same or related field.
