About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans to identify and report bugs in our software applications. You will work closely with developers to ensure that all issues are resolved before the software is released to our users.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software functionality meets requirements.
• Identify, reproduce, and report software defects using a bug-tracking system.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
• Collaborate with developers to understand code changes and develop effective test strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in software testing or a related field.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, exploratory testing).
• Experience with a bug tracking system (ex: Jira, Slack, Bugzilla).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A passion for learning new technologies.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with programming languages (ex: Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Experience with specific testing tools (ex: Cypress, Selenium, Appium).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in a specific software development domain (ex: Micro-Services, SaaS Development).
