Job Description

The main responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Identifying the project requirements by thoroughly reading the contract terms.
  2. Managing the overall schedule to ensure work is assigned to his team accordingly and is done to achieve the norms mentioned in the contract.
  3. Ensuring that the team understands and follows the requirements laid down in the contracts for smooth running of WCC services.
  4. Reporting to the Head of FM on a regular basis about the project.
  5. To deliver a consistent level of service across site Soft services, within the Company's standards, to the contract specification and agreed KPI performance, qualitative and financial targets
  6. To be accountable for excellent service delivery within the soft services team activities and operational objectives ensuring continuous improvements are made
  7. Client and customer retention and satisfaction
  8. Ensuring that departmental reports are filled in and recorded properly.
  9. Ensuring that departmental operations are running efficiently with the defined WCC’s QHSE management system and the client’s management system.
  10. Delegating clear responsibilities and authorities to the Project staff.
  11. Ensuring customer satisfaction by interacting with the client’s representative and solving their problems, if any, promptly and effectively.

12. To ensure that the project workers use the prescribed PPE in proper way.

13. To ensure that all the PPE are fit for use.

14. To form a health and safety team for his project.

15. To ensure that a replenished first aid box is available at the project site.

16. To carry out the risk assessment for activities in his project.

  1. Identifying the training needs for his project employees.
  2. Ensuring that the right resources (equipments, tools, chemicals) are available with his team to fulfill their job effectively.
  3. Identifying, managing and mitigating hazards and associated risks for the activities carried out on their project site.
  4. To submit all incident reports or near misses to the QHSE department.
  5. To identify the significant environmental aspects and to reduce them to an insignificant level.
  6. To bring down the rate of LTFIR by adhering to safe practice.
  7. Safety Committee Member with following duties:

a) Promote interest, enthusiasm, commitment and communicate health, safety & environmental issues throughout all staff and handled projects.

b) Supervise and maintain a tidy environment within the site and organized it in such way that the work can be carried out with minimal risk to Health & Safety including checks of safety Gadgets/PPE’s.

c) Conduct and/or review health, safety & environment inspection within workplace.

d) Monitor accident/incidences and injury report.
