About the job:

-          Understanding the source language text, rendering it correctly in the target language with the appropriate style and register to the target audience.

-          Making sure that the intellectual and structural content of the source language is maintained in the target language.

-          Conducting the needed search, using specialized dictionaries, thesauruses, and online sources, to find the most accurate translation of the source text.

-          Proofreading and editing the translated material.

-          Adhering to the Translation Style Guide and following instructions given to them by reviewers.

-          Making sure that their translations meet the applicable standards through sufficient research, checking with reviewers, good revision, …etc.

-          Maintaining an ethical code that protects the confidentiality of information.

Job Requirements:

-          A Bachelor’s degree in English Arts, Translation & Linguistics, or any other relevant field.

-          Fluency in both English and Arabic

-          At least 3 Years’ experience in translation.

-          Proficiency in Microsoft office software

-          Commitment to deadlines

-          Excellent writing skills and command of grammar

-          Attention to details combined with the ability to meet deadlines

-          Time management skills

-          Problem solving skills

-          Self-motivation

-          Eagerness to learn and acquire new knowledge

-          Effective communication skills

-          Work under pressure
