ILUJIS Agriculture is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of cost accounting principles within the agricultural industry. As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing budget reports, monitoring inventory, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports to identify variances and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain standard costing models for agricultural products.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and recorded inventory.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance cost efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and forecasts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and journal entries.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at both operational and executive levels.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
